BATTERY COVER AND POLE ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE AND ASSEMBLY METHOD

A battery cover and pole assembly structure, and an assembly method therefor. The assembly structure comprises a cover plate (3), and a first pole (1) and a second pole (2) mounted on the cover plate (3); a first plastic element (41) is encapsulatingly formed between the first pole (1) and the cover plate (3), and a second plastic element (42) is encapsulatingly formed between the second pole (2) and the cover plate (3); the first pole (1) comprises a first metal block (11) and at least one first metal pin (12) that fits into the first metal block (11), the first metal pin (12) being welded to the first metal block (11); the second pole (2) comprises a second metal block (21) and at least one second metal pin (22) that fits into the second metal block (21), the second metal pin (22) being welded to the second metal block (21). The described structure omits formation of poles by means of friction welding, and can decrease production costs for a cover and pole assembly, as well as improve overall overcurrent capability of the poles; in addition, the structure increases stability between the poles and the battery cover plate, helping to increase battery cell safety performance.
