a presente inven??o prop?e m?todos para tratar pacientes com c?ncer com defici?ncia em ao menos um gene n?o brca1/2 envolvido na via de reparo por recombina??o hom?loga (hrr) usando um inibidor da poli(adp-ribose) polimerase (parp), tal como niraparibe. em particular, pacientes com c?ncer com defici?ncia em ao menos um gene selecionado dentre o grupo composto por brca1, brca2, atm, atr, bap1, bard1, blm, brip1, mre11a, nbn, palb2, rad51, rad51b, rad51c, rad51d, rad52, rad54l, xrcc2, tp53 ou rb1 podem se beneficiar do tratamento com niraparibe.
