Ultra-wideband electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness composite with elevated thermal conductivity
With the advent of the microelectronics era, the electromagnetic radiation and heat accumulation of electronic devices have evolved critical issues to be solved. Herein, polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) based composites with a continuous carbon fiber (CFs) network structure connected via carbon nanotubes (CNTs) containing cobalt nanoparticles is fabricated via heat treatment and vacuum-assisted impregnation. Beneficial from the all-graphene topological network and stable magnetism, the composite has more than 35?dB EMI shielding effectiveness in the ultra-wideband of 8???40?GHz, even reach as high as 75.33?dB in the Ka-band. Meanwhile, the effective thermal conduction pathways formed by CNTs and CFs make the thermal conductivity of the composite reach 1.08?W?m?1 K?1. More significantly, the composite can still maintain high electromagnetic shielding and thermal conductivity after the 1000 bending tests, which verifies the excellent structural stability of the composite. Such a versatile composite has broad application prospects in a precision electronic device.
