Preparation of chitosan/lignosulfonate for effectively removing Pb(II) in water
Inappropriate treatment of industrial wastewater brings pollution to the environment and seriously affects the health of animals and plants. There is an urgent need to develop a green and efficient adsorbent to solve such problems. Chitosan and lignosulfonate undergo free radical polymerization to form a chitosan/lignosulfonate adsorbent to deal with Pb(II) pollution. In the process of the experiment, the orthogonal design experiment was used to optimize the dosage of chitosan, lignosulfonate, N'N-methylenebisacrylamide, and potassium persulfate, and the adsorbent with the best adsorption performance was obtained. FT-IR, SEM, thermal analysis, zeta potential and XPS were used to characterize the morphology, structure and performance of the adsorbent. The influence of environmental factors on the adsorption performance of the adsorbent was discussed. On this basis, kinetics and isotherm models were established. The results show that when the adsorbent is 0.2?g?L?1, the adsorption capacity of Pb(II) is 525?mg?g?1. The adsorption process of chitosan/lignosulfonate is an adsorption method, which is mainly composed of electrostatic adsorption and chemical adsorption. In addition, the chitosan/lignosulfonate adsorbent has undergone 5 regeneration experiments, and the adsorption efficiency still reaches 92%, indicating that it has good regeneration ability.
