Eafip event to present outcomes of European PPI and PCP initiatives

Procurers, policy makers, procurement law firms and businesses are invited to learn more about the most recent outcomes from major pre-commercial procurement (PCP) and public procurement of innovation (PPI) initiatives across Europe by attending the second major eafip event in Athens (Greece) from 18 - 19 October 2016.

The event, organised by the Greek National Centre for Public Admnistration and Local Government (EKDDA), will encourage networking between stakeholders, providing a space to discuss best practice, new ideas and funding opportunities. The event is free of charge but early registration is required.

The EU-funded eafip project supports public authorities to carry out better innovation procurement of ICT-based solutions across the EU. As well as promoting the benefits of procurement of innovation, the initiative also provides training to public procurers. The event is organised in cooperation with the Greek Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism.
