Chapter 5 ISO 26000:2010 Guidance on Social Responsibility

This chapter focuses on the implementation of an ethics management system in the organisation with the application of the ISO Standard 26000:2010 ? Guidance on Social Responsibility (SR). This Standard systematises the ethics management process and makes it compatible with the quality management system and other existing management systems in the organisation. The characteristics of this Standard are described as well as the elements that form it and the way that these are put into practice. With the application of the ISO Standard 26000:2010, the decisive step towards an ethical management system in the organisation can be the certification.
