ADDITIVELY-CONSTRUCTED CELLULAR BUILDING ELEMENTS AND STRUCTURES

Sub-panel, panel, and connecting coupler building elements are provided that can be manufactured by additive manufacturing and then be joined together in modular fashion to produce structures suitable for use as shelters or other buildings or structures. Each sub-panel includes one or more whole or partial cells, each of which defines a cavity, which ensures light weight and can house insulative material, lighting fixtures, utility elements, or a transparent window structure. Cell sidewalls can be joined to form a modular panel. Multiple panels may be joined by their edges in a generally planar configuration to form walls. Connector elements may include at least one cell and at least one connecting flange. The sidewall of each cell or connecting flange may be joined to another cell or panel to interconnect walls in predefined orientations. Sub-panels and/or panels may be manufactured and stockpiled, and be deployed as needed for assembly on site.
