(Photo: Permavoid)Polypipe (Doncaster / UK; www.polypipe.com), a major supplier of plastic piping and ventilation systems for the residential, commercial, civil and infrastructure sectors, has taken over compatriot Permavoid (Warrington; www.permavoid.co.uk). The acquired company specialises in design and supply of surface water management solutions in commercial, residential and sports pitch applications. Polypipe has been its sole UK licensee since 2013.

With the addition of Permavoid?s products designed to deal with the increasing impacts of climate change and urbanisation, Polypipe said it will be able to enhance its own range of products for water management solutions. Key applications for Permavoid's products are in sustainable urban drainage systems, ?green? infrastructure, blue-green roofs, podium decks and sports surface applications.
