Registration open for ICLEI World Congress 2018

Registration has now opened for the ICLEI World Congress 2018, which will be held from 19-22 June in Montréal (Canada).

At the ICLEI World Congress 2018, ICLEI and Ville de Montréal will bring together hundreds of mayors, governors, city staff, international organisations, business leaders and researchers to share their ideas, successes and challenges in advancing sustainable urban development worldwide.

Held every three years, the ICLEI World Congress is among the top platforms for peer-to-peer exchange on the latest ideas and innovations designed to advance sustainable development in our urban world.

Together, participants will examine key issues and solutions that will play a role in the development of our cities and regions - from the circular economy to nature-based solutions and systemic resilience.

The initiative will bring together practitioners, experts and policy makers and facilitate city to city dialogue about tangible solutions with project-ready partners.

Participants will share their challenges and successes across two events with four thematic areas - sustainable: transport, energy efficiency in buildings, smart grids and renewable energy, circular economy. Smart: data management/data driven economy, common ticketing systems, e-mobility, Internet of Things.
